Philadelphia Engagement Photography | Jess & Bills Beach Engagement Portraits

With the Summer in full force, I went looking through our archives to find a session we had not shared yet that fit with the season. That's where I realized that Jess and Bill's beach engagement session was still unpublished. Not anymore!

Engagement portraits on the beach can be tricky. If you do them at the wrong time it could be too hot, wind could be a factor in hair flying everywhere, a whole number of things could go wrong. This session turned out just right, though! First, we met a little after the Summer so we were able to avoid the crowds but still get the beach, the sand and the boardwalk portraits that Jess wanted. Then, they brought a few different outfit options so we could get a Summer-y look and a Fall look in the same session!

And they brought Bill's son, Connor, to help add some goofiness to the portraits!

Philadelphia Engagement Photography | Elizabeth & Brian's Art Museum Engagement

It may have been one of the dreariest days last Fall but that didn't seem to matter to Elizabeth and Brian! The sky was overcast and rain seemed impossible to avoid when we met up for engagement photos behind the Art Museum. They just took it in stride and made the best of it all!

We hit the normal spots — the azalea garden, the art museum steps, etc. — then we ended with a few engagement portraits along Fairmount Avenue. We even did a few engagement pictures in London Grill, one of their favorite places in the neighborhood.

These two really are super fun and we get to photograph them again this weekend for the wedding!

Jenny contacted us a while back about her wedding and, like always we were super excited to work with her. But that was hardly our first time meeting! Jenny was a bridesmaid in not just one, but two of our weddings over the last few years.

We met up with her and her fiance, Matteo, in Boston last September for their engagement portraits. They were just so happy around each other and so comfortable with each other. It was truly refreshing.

Fast forward to today and we get to see these two connected souls finally tie the knot.

New York City Wedding Photography | Pam & Nick's Engagement

Pam and Nick's engagement session took us all over New York City. No, really, ALL OVER New York City. We've done a handful of New York City engagement sessions but none quite like this one. This hilarious duo is getting married this weekend and they planned on using their photos as table numbers so, with that in mind, they wanted to stop by as many landmarks as we could in one day!

We started the day at their apartment and traveled to many recognizable places throughout the city. We did a few engagement pictures in Central Park, a picture in Times Square, a picture in Grand Central Station and even a few engagement pictures on Broadway, among plenty other places!

It was one of the most fun days we have had in New York, and the couple kept us laughing the whole time. Some of our favorite photos from the day were Pam and Nick pretending to fall into the Bethesda Fountain, and the two jumping in front of some Broadway show billboards. (Check out the air Pam got while wearing heels!)

One of the last stops of the day was to BXL, the bar where Pam and Nick got engaged! The owner knew the two well and brought us some champagne to celebrate!

Needless to say, we can't wait for their wedding!
